Day 2 of a 1k buy in. We have circa 100bb, villain has circa 70bbs I have only played 1 hand with AA (not shown down, was cold 4 bet pre by me, villan donk led pot (lol tyvm) a monotone 3 5 8 board, I shipped holding the monotone A). Hand: We pick up AA in MP and raise 2.5x Villain is a non descript middle aged gentleman, who i recognise from playing other 1k events, and I am working on the assumption he isnt super aggro, but is lets say competant Villain peels BB Flop 3 Q 3 He cks, We bet 4bbs he calls Turn T He cks, we bet 10bbs, he tanks and raises half of his effective stack We tank. After a good long think, I decide that calling isnt an option so we either go with it here or dont. I look to get a reaction and say to the guy "I have QT beat" and he fairly casually says "if you had QT beat then your money would be in the pot already" This was then followed by a huge release on tension by him, he leaned back in his chair and stretched his arms out above his head (not in an acting way) Clock gets called, we.....................................? thoughts on his holdings?
