Title: KK in the $33cubed 15k vs a table full of absolute hero's Post by: Pinchop73 on December 09, 2011, 01:16:50 AM All villain's in this hand are big WINNAR'S.
My stat's at the time were 10/8 over 60 hands, we've all been sat at the same table since the start. I guess most winning regs would pin me as a superfish if they sharkscope'd me. Considering my supernit image I was quite surprised to pick up so many callers. How wide do you feel a winning player is flatting from the sb? How much will my image affect a winning reg's calling range? I felt sooooooo wary of one of these villain's had hood flatted me with AA. WWYD? p.s. on a side note, am I incorrect in weighing whether a player is good or not based on how much money they've won/lost over a decent sample? you start the hand with <30bbs - you have cbet 35% pot - looks like you are giving youself room to fold most likely is that you are up against a monster combo, but im never folding in this spot Title: Re: KK in the $33cubed 15k vs a table full of absolute hero's Post by: cambridgealex on December 09, 2011, 02:55:32 AM seriously?

I thought it was a no brainer at the time too, I'm just trying to plug as many leaks as possible that's all. Obv this isn't one of them. It's incredibly frustrating to look players like this up to find they've won vast amounts of cash, I've played against better players down the local £20 rebuy. I want my graph to look like their's god damn it. Title: Re: KK in the $33cubed 15k vs a table full of absolute hero's Post by: SuuPRlim on December 10, 2011, 08:58:15 AM you know folding would be lolbad :P
in answer to the real questions ITT The two callers from the blinds will have IMO a capped range with mostly high card hands/mid+suited connectors and small to mid pairs. I would expect good players to call 8c 9c but fold 3h 4h, I would never expect them to do anything bu oeel 22-88 unless you're a joke spew and stuff like Kd 9d etc Qs Ts, high card hands with good flop equity, Im pretty sure unsuited bad aces would be folded also. The two players out of your 4 callers i'd expect to see have the strongest range are the Hijack and the Small blind. The btn can be wider because he's OTB vs a random and a reg and the SB will prolly wanna be quite tight here as he's directly OOP to two good players, his range will prolly be the most dominated by small pairs. The BB has the most money invested currently and is closing the action so will most likely be wider than the SB how much money they've won over a decent sample is a pretty shrewd way of judging ability, you can assume safely that anyone who has played 10k+games and won money is prolly a decent player, obv if they have been losing except for a massive score then this is different |
