Title: Flush spot 1/2 Live hand
Post by: chatban on December 12, 2011, 01:22:27 PM
9 handed Table

Active table

Hero stack is around £460
Villain stack is around £900

VI have been sat an hour and Villain has been pretty much playing any hand pre that has not been 3 bet. Atleast 80% vpip. He seems to bet just around pot when he decided to bet, no real solid reads

Hero in sb with   9d 8d
Villain in Cut off
Original raiser in UTG +2

Original raiser makes it £12
Villain flats
I flat

Flop   Js 5d 6d (£38)

Hero checks
Original raiser checks
Villain bets £32
Hero calls
OR folds

Turn  Jd (£102)

Hero checks
Villain bets 50
Hero calls

River  2h £202

Hero checks
Villain bets 50
Hero Raises to 101 with intention to folding to a shove.

Are we happy with raising this river in this hand? Should we just flat here?

If the paired board is a concern then why particularly?

I'd prob lead the flop sometimes but checking seems ok too. As played c/r the turn, he should have more jx combos that this villian will get stacks in with if you raise turn/jam river than combos of 55/66, so i'd be less concerned with being beat here and trying to get as much moneys in as possible

river play seems kind of pointless if you're going to chk/minraise fold over a 1/4 pot bet surely you're better off just bet folding £100 otr? doubt he ever has a boat when he bets £50, ut who knows lol

id lead turn/lead river personally.
