Can't say much more. The main man in the World Cup winning team. Gave so much. Was far ahead of everyone else playing the game. He was always totally committed and put in some massive hits for his size & weight.

The main man in the World Cup winning team. Gave so much. Was far ahead of everyone else playing the game. Nobody put in more effort. At his peak he dictated the game like nobody else. His kicking positionally and scoring was so good. Put so much pressure on opponents as they knew he would punish any penalty and could slot over drop goals at will. His tackling numbers were ridiculous. I think he's still 2nd in the all time leading point scorers and he missed 4 years of international rugby. In the the 2 years building up to the world cup they won, they played pretty good rugby, are you telling me guys like Jason Robinson, Josh Lewsey etc were boring to watch? They scored plenty of tries in that period and were decent to watch. |
