Title: Manchester or Leeds..?
Post by: Leatherman on January 03, 2012, 09:43:06 PM

 I'm planning on going away for a weekend break early Feb and the Mrs has found two hotels that she likes, but i'm rubbish in making decisions. :dontask: The weekend is just for a chillout, but we will both want to play a little poker, the nightlife is not a big issue as the mrs can't drink atm  ;whistle;

 I've not played poker at Manchester or Leeds so i'm stuck, if anybody can help me in making my decision that would be great.  :)up

The Gala in the Leeds has a dealer dealt guarenteed prize comp 7 nights a week and about five easy(ish) cash tables when they are all running.  There are three cheap(ish) hotels (Premier inn, Ibis and Holiday Inn Express in close proximity to the casino.

Chester...and take a pack of cards for strip poker

Why on earth would anyone want to play strip poker in Chester in a Manchester or Leeds thread? ;)

Think Paris, Florence or Rome are better weekend breaks for a couple than Leeds or Manc in Feb tbh.

Manchester you could take a show at the palace or the lowery . Plenty of nice restuarnts and the 235 casino is buzzing Saturday night . Small comp on at Salford g casino starts at 8 pm about 60 runners think it's a 20 pound plus 1 rebuy hope this helps enjoy where ever you go
