But gl anyways. Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Jesse was in one of his high-pitched shouty moods. You were quiet. Q-Q v 4-4 was a setback. You then grinded. You won. You were gracious in your victory speech. Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Flushy in action Post by: JaffaCake on February 01, 2012, 10:13:36 PM that A7 hand I was convinced he'd misread til he victory slams it after his brave call on the river. Luke's commentary was comical, Jesse says Frankenburger must be good coz he's finalled three WPTs, Luke says 'Darvin Moon won about 8million last year and he chops wood' lol.
If I have to watch Feldman looking to the skies and looking like a kid who's had his dinner money nicked while contemplating a simple fold one more time in one of these I'm never watching again. How does he even get invited to play, such bad TV. Last year the Premier League had Hellmuth and Negreanu, now we're back to Feldman dwelling up and telling us how sick it is that A3o might not be the best hand after all. gtfo Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. James Dempsey took down the 1st heat and picked up 16 points as he used his double up card. Jennifer Tilly, Tony G and Luke Schwartz have it all to do as Tony and Luke used their double cards and picked up 0, 2 and 4 points respectivley. Max Pescatori and Matt Giannetti have thier double up cards to use and will they use them tonight? Mike Sexton joins Jesse May in the commentary box. _________________ Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Flushy in action Post by: bobby1 on February 07, 2012, 01:02:33 PM I like this show, it allows the dynamic of the table to come thru and isn't just about who has the best cards at a showdown. My one gripe would be that it could be argued there is a little too much dwelling/showboating shown and the first heat these guys played turned more into a ''Luke is a character' show than was necessary.
Obv, you need to show the dwells and banter to understand some of the later hands. The Sexton call with his flush last week was abs brill to see as the whole dilemma he had from start to finish was set up perfectly by what had been shown before, the rub downs he was giving out were great to watch too. He seemed to be trying to rile Feldman into giving something away, it was a fantastic TV hand on a lot of levels. But, watching 60 seconds of Luke under the influence and being a bit of a cock is just a waste of that 60 seconds for me as all I wanted to do there was turn it off. Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Flushy in action Post by: Matchroom Sport on February 14, 2012, 12:53:39 PM Sky Sports HD 2 tonight at 1045pm sees Group A heat 2 come to an end in the PartyPoker Mixed Game Championship.
Tony G, Luke Schwartz, Jennifer Tilly and Max Pescatori are the players left and will battle it out for first place. Jesse May and Mike Sexton are in the commentary box Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Flushy in action Post by: JaffaCake on February 15, 2012, 06:52:06 PM This programme is beyond tilting. Tilting players who can't play even tho mixed games is basically hold 'em and plo, tilting structure with stupid double points things that make half the resullts irrelevent and mean u have to sit with a calculator trying to work out who should call who and who should just fold and wait no matter what's happening in the current hand, tilting 'banter' at the tables....look forward to another reminder next week
Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Flushy in action Post by: smashedagain on February 15, 2012, 07:05:59 PM You got the impression that Jennifer would still not have known what to do if Luke had shown her his cards in one of the hands. I have to say that I still enjoy watching the show for the entertainment value. Matchroom are doing something a little bit different and makes a change from watching a series of hold em flips.

Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. Flushy in action Post by: JaffaCake on March 08, 2012, 02:29:10 PM Somehow Andrew Feldman commentates worse than he plays Lol yep. Just when u thought it couldn't get any more tilting, u get this. Jesse normally plays the clown and makes daft comments for the co-commentator to correct and tell u the right way to play but in this he actually talks the most sense. If u watched the latest Late Night Poker series, James Akenhead almost made it boring by telling u exactly what was gonna happen on every street just before it did. In this episode Feldman tells u exactly the opposite of what's gonna happen, from the second hand in, where Luke 3bets the sb then cks the flop, Jesse asks is he just done with the hand on that flop, Feldman assures him Luke's "definitely not done with the pot" just as Luke's cards slide in the muck (after saying Luke would bet the flop). Different level thinking I guess, not in a good way... Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship.. It's easy to Feldman bash, I try not to cos I've never met him and don't want to go off just rumours. Feldman has been super annoying all the way through, all the way to his commentary, when he didn't seem to be able to form a sentence, and showed how our of depth he was in this field when trying to predict action and talk through hands.
By the by, Flushy thought your commentary on the one I watched last week (maybe week before) was excellent, one of the best, perfect combo of colour/humour and knowledge Title: Re: Mixed Game Championship..
