Title: runner runner 2 pair while chasing nut flush draw

not sure about this hand only late reged a couple of hands ago so no info at all on anyone
am i supposed to check call the river or can i shove for value
think if i shove i can only get called by better
and not sure if i can get better to fold
sorry i am real rusty have played much in months

All in now, we probably have the best hand and he can he can easily call with worse thinking the draws have missed, particularly if he's holding an Ace most players are biologically incapable of folding top pair at these stakes.

you're right that better will never fold, but worse will often call, so it's a straightforward value shove imo.

I shoved and lost to chaz's set of 5s but as long as I was making the right move results don't matter

Jamming is infinately better than chk/calling, chk/calling prolly the nut low line imo, think is rather c/f than c/call
