Title: PKR high roller
Post by: pleno1 on January 15, 2012, 07:29:02 PM
90bigs deep, 70 runners, $530 entry.

Previous with villain is he called my raise pre and then a 3bet from the blinds with a9 and took off on a bluff with a blokcer on q103ddJ6 when flop got checked through.

I have 8800 after calling some 3bets and c/f every flop.

I have been in last 3 pots.

I raise UTG w/ Ahrt Jd playing 7 handed to 300

Villain UTG+1 calls, Will Dorey calls from the bb.

Flop  Ad Jh 5h

I bet 388, both call

Turn  C5

I bet 1288 into around 2k which would set up a pot sized shove on river with villain 1 if both call. Villain calls, Dorey folds.

River  Qc

Pot is 4800 and he has 5650 behind.

He may be a pKR reg and its my first ever tourny on PKR so prob thinks im bad/weak because of c/.f flops and stuff.

Best line?

bet really small and hope he spazzes thinking you missed hearts or something?

no problem with getting it all in btw, not planning on folding if he shoves etc.

Are you under the impression villain is good? That is a pretty bad river. Still I'd bet like 1880, reasons to give AK/AT a decent price to call and losing less when he has AQ as he shouldn't really be able to raise this river if we bet, but we might have to call a bigger bet if we check. If he jams i'm super snap folding and i don't think it's close.

Bet flop bigger, tons of combos they're going to continue with. Like the turn betsize but given his non-sensical bluff that you saw I like c/c
