Title: KQ preflop, call?
Post by: david3103 on January 21, 2012, 07:32:13 AM
£10+£10+£10
43 runners, 12 left
10 paid although 10th=£30 4th =£85 and the bulk of the money is in Top 3, £430 for 1st
There are League Points for Final Table with an end of league freeroll with, I think, £2,000 to play for.

I have c 40,000, avge is c21,000
Blinds 500/1000/100

I raise from HJ to 2200 with  Kh Qh, - I've raised a lot tonight. I've also hit a lot and although I've not been to showdown a lot, when it's come to it, I've had it
Cut Off and Button are both intent on making FT and fold,
SB shoves for 7800 total - he's folded his blinds to most raises and has been showing some frustration.
BB overshoves for c 16,000

SB is youngish, not known to me but seems to play regularly and from odd bits of conversation seeems to have made some study of the game
BB is also youing and a regular here. I've played him a lot, right back to early pubpoker days. He gets decent results locally.

Call?

or easy fold?

Fold (as AK/AQ beating you)

sigggggggggh King Queeen sooted, I don't think it'd be the worst call ever, but the problem is the overshove has exactly 0% air and the most part of profit from calling in these spots is from people's light-ish jams when there is fold equity.

Strictly speaking this is a reasonably stnd fold but a great spot to spite call it off lol

Wish I'd been feeling spiteful...

Still above average if you lose.

Lovely looking hand.

Flick it in.

mine too,

BB was the last man on the table that I would want to give chips to. We go way back and I hate giving him chips. Maybe I should be more prepared to call and put one on him.

His JJ held and he went on to take 1st...
