I call a preflop raise with AQ from a kid that's raised three in a row. He leads the Ace high flop, I raise and commit myself. He shoves, I call, he flips AK over.
Queen on the turn. Unlucky young man.

Rolling blinds back is a great idea.

Not telling anyone about it beforehand is terrible.

It could seriously affect people's play in the later stages of day 1 if they knew that the blinds were reducing when they came back.

All of a sudden desperation with a 10bb stack about to become 8bb would change to hang in there because you're going to have 15bb soon.

At 2000/4000 there was a 12k raise and 80k shove. I call with AK. Opener passes AK (allegedly) and I'm up against 8,8. Flopped the ace and I'm at 120k

 Incredible hand just occured, exactly where it was expected. Oliver Smith makes it 63k, Lhonore and Iacono call. Flop is  Ahrt 8h 3h . Checks round to Lhonore, bets 83k. Iacono makes it 182k. Smith from no where makes it 315k. Lhonore tank folds, Iacono then comes back at Smith, shoving for 1mil. Smith tank folds, Iacono shows  Kd Td
