Tubbs to Bournemouth...sigh Barnett and McFadzean possibly to the mighty Posh...mixed emotions here. Ryan Bennett Posh to Swansea...good signing for them. Still has enormous potential. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: millidonk on January 31, 2012, 02:11:33 PM Defoe to Liverpool and Tevez/Carroll swap are what im looking out for.

Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: TheChipPrince on January 31, 2012, 02:31:34 PM tubbs was a really strange deal. don't understand that at all B'mouth came into money a few months ago, it only makes sense because he's a B'mouth fan, not really from just a football point of view they're trying to spend another 500k on Matt Ritchie too Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: Snowball on January 31, 2012, 02:38:47 PM I am looking for some nobody's arriving at Leeds for nowt and letting our best players go for peanuts. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: anthonyl on January 31, 2012, 11:28:02 PM tubbs was a really strange deal. don't understand that at all had a season ticket as a kid. crawley have no potential and will never average more than 4,000 at home with Brighton and Palace either side of them. will be back in the conference in 5/6 years. great move for him, good shout for the playoffs. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: The Camel on January 31, 2012, 11:40:27 PM Very happy with today's signings.
Zamora the most exciting striker to don the hoops since Sir Les. Cisse has been a bit of a joke in English football, but overall his scoring record is very good. 10 goals from him this season and I'll be more than satisfied! We're not 100% safe, but we must have more quality and a better manager than any of the other teams in the bottom 5. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: Longy on January 31, 2012, 11:59:34 PM Ryan Bennett undergoing medical at Norwich apparantly and will be loaned back to Posh for rest of the season.
Surprised the 2 clubs are still doing business after the CMS and Cody Mcdonald sagas. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: Sheriff Fatman on February 01, 2012, 12:37:06 AM Disappointed to lose Vaz Te to West Ham for a pittance, but at least we got something for him.
Keith Hill is trying to work the magic again with signings from Leyton Orient and Exeter City. His record in talent spotting the lower leagues so far suggests we should be optimistic that they can step up. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: TheChipPrince on February 01, 2012, 12:53:41 AM Stephen Dawson is a good player, best player on the park at Preston last sat.

His record in talent spotting the lower leagues so far suggests we should be optimistic that they can step up. Didn't take long for the Red Brazil to fall apart. Butterfield out for season. Vaz Te and Drinkwater elsewhere. Really think if they had stayed together they had a realistic shot at the playoffs. Still by all accounts a great performance tonight, sure you'll be safe from the drop zone. It'd be pretty big odds no ? Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: Dubai on February 01, 2012, 01:06:33 AM I will lay a 3000-1000 he scores 10 league goals if Keith wants
Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: Chompy on February 01, 2012, 01:14:34 AM Ryan Bennett undergoing medical at Norwich apparantly and will be loaned back to Posh for rest of the season. Surprised the 2 clubs are still doing business after the CMS and Cody Mcdonald sagas. Nothing ever changes in Poshy land. Day started full of hope but nobody in, Ajoke Ajose shipped out on loan and then Bennett off to complete an almost all ex-Posh back line in Naaaarwich. He's back on loan with us until the end of Feb. Daragh says this transfer will help establish us as a Championship team. Selling your best player and getting nobody in while on the major dip in form does what now? Apparently cost more than CMS cost Brighton but will be worth it. Well played Delia. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: The Camel on February 01, 2012, 01:55:17 AM Very happy with today's signings. It'd be pretty big odds no ? ok, 6 I'll be satisfied! Seems a like more likely although I'd still be suprised if he does that, might luckbox a hatrick though. Suprised you got Zamora for so cheap when all English players are way overvalued, was his contract up in the Summer ? I can't work him out for whether I think he's good or not, didn't seem very popular with the Fulham fans, worth the risk at that price though. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: Girgy85 on February 01, 2012, 02:23:01 AM What if he scores 6 goals in 6 games but u lose em all 2-1?
Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: The Camel on February 01, 2012, 07:59:37 PM Boom.
1 down, 9 to go. Title: Re: Deadline Day Post by: The Baron on February 01, 2012, 08:06:47 PM Before the second leg break he had a decent record for us. Just frustrates. Takes a few chances to stick one away but will definitely put a few away.
