Title: Flop spot in syndicate game
Post by: Marty719 on February 01, 2012, 12:07:49 PM
Started playing in a new syndicate last night.  12 games throughout the year.  6 players each paying £65 each game.  Top 2 spots get entry into major live events.  Point structure is:

1st - 15pts
2nd - 11pts
3rd - 8pts
4th - 6pts
5th - 4pts
6th - 2pts

As for the hand.  6 handed at 75/150.  C/o (18k) opens to 400, button (16k) calls, and hero (23k) squeezes with Kh10h from the bb to 1625.  Both villains are relatively tight players, and have shown no tendancies to get out of line post-flop.  Hero has an active image, but hasnt shown down many hands.

Flop comes Jh8h7x.  Hero leads for 2350 (thoughts?).  Villain makes it 5000.

Hero...?

Only button calls pre - sry.  What do we think buttons range is when he clicks back flop?

Doesn't really matter. You've got shit loads of outs and a good chunk of FE.

Just get it in.

fwiw - Id say I have close to 0 fe vs this villain here.  I figured 2p was at the bottom of his click it back range, tho obv he can never have J8 or J7.  Thought his range was pretty well defined as sets, straights and 78s.  Does the syndicate format change nething here?
