So like a true Degenerate, as the sun started to come up I quickly left the cash table I was playing and logged off my laptop.

Several hours later I awoke to a strange sensation, sunlight. Not ordinary sunlight, warm sunlight. I'm not sure what to do with myself now. I've even left the house in a T-shirt. I suppose itsa says something about your character when you leave the house to carry on posting on the internet but still!

Whats everybody doing with this nice day?

I'm in notts too but just turned central heating on, guess its a sign of old age :)

After finishing work at 2pm I spent the next 3 hrs in the garden with my 2 kids aged 3 and 2, was lovely just to sit there, and the sun was quite strong to be fair.

Was hard to resist firing up stars on the phone though, but I passed.

Missus' dad had snow in Durham yesterday, been pissing it down non stop in Lincoln. I actually have to leave the house today. fml.

We have heavy rain here in Leicester but it's long over due. All the spring growth has been retarded because it's been so dry.

I think we were heading for a hosepipe ban too.

Some roads closed up here and queensbury has had 10 inches of snow overnight, but that's pretty standard for queensbury.

super standard with a 4 day weekend coming up. got our new bbq yesterday just in time for easter but after last night's downpour it resembles a birdbath

Hi Tom, i live just off the junction28 M1 in a little (village) called South Normanton its between Alfreton an Mansfield. I once heard that Tikay was from Alfreton not sure how true this is? Anyway i just didn't relise that we was expecting snow today and its just chucked spanner in the works... Should be gone tomorrow so all is good, as for the hosepipe ban who ever takes notice of that? ;)

Not quite, but I can understand why you thought or heard that. I live in Ilkeston, Derbyshire (when not in London), but I worked down the road from you at Bowmers (B & K) in Heage for around 20 years. We did a whole bunch of work locally, too, including all the new factories & production plants for Thorntons @ Somercotes, and that Sainsburys @ Ripley.

The annual highlight in Heage was "Well Dressing". Epic exciteaments!
