Title: Proud of my son Post by: istrabraq on February 29, 2012, 10:35:03 AM Today at 4 pm my sons school is I'n it's first football tourney 7 matches winning team goes 2 everton training ground to play final . He has been made captain and never seen him so happy . Was at Liverpool academy for 2 years until they let him go . How they can say at 8 he isn't good enough is questionable he plays center half and not like all his mates who want 2 score he loves defending . Roll on 4 pm proud dad

My sons favourite player is Jason mercier and hopefully can follow updates at weekend and I can do good for him . I gave him my only trophy after winning 1 event hopefully make it 2 this weekend

Played 7 games won 6 drew 1 scored 24 goals 1 conceded . Really played well got trophy and medals so made up for him . Wore the captains armband with pride

Considering it was there first school tournament was a great achievement 4 of them play I'n same Saturday a team and others I'n b team so should get only better . What impressed me most was they were all talking about how they are going 2 try harder next year . Great attitude at a young age . Once again cheers
