Title: Next Spurs Manager Post by: jjandellis on March 05, 2012, 02:42:09 AM Where do you think the value is?

Skybet odds: David Moyes 5/2 Jose Mourinho 9/2 Jurgen Klinsman 8 Alan Pardew 9 Brendan Rodgers 12 Jorge Jesus 18 Andre Villas-Boas 20 Pep Guardiola 20 Steve Bruce 20 Tim Sherwood 18 Gus Poyet 20 Joe Jordan 22 Louis Van Gaal 22 Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: action man on March 05, 2012, 05:34:04 AM im trying to get max on this now
out of all the list i can only see klinsman/mourinho or AVB getting it. Spurs wouldnt get anyone assosiated with long ball game, some real punters in that list. Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: Pab on March 05, 2012, 06:22:27 AM tried to get AVB on skybet for you trigg, they were willing to lay me £5....
Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: Josedinho on March 05, 2012, 06:52:32 AM I'm sat on Moyes at 20/1.
I think Jose and Rodgers are players. Really not too worried about most of the foreign names. After Ramos I don't think Levy will be rushing to appoint the hottest talent in Europe and may look to managers that have Prem experience. Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: The Camel on March 05, 2012, 08:29:01 AM You really think Spurs fans will accept a Chelsea reject as their manager?
Not a chance. Gus Poyet is a definite runner imo. Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: pleno1 on March 05, 2012, 10:03:20 AM lol David Moyes would be terrible.
Steve Bruce? 20's? Reallllllllly? rofl. If I was a Spurs fan would only take Mourinho/Gaurdiola. from that list. Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: MANTIS01 on March 05, 2012, 10:05:32 AM I know Tim Sherwood is held in high esteem in the Spurs boardroom and is rated highly by Redknapp. He captained Blackburn to the prem title and captained spurs as a player so a natural leader. If spurs want proven CL experience then Mourinho is the obv choice but not sure he goes to a club who can't realistically win the title without massive investment. If spurs want continuity then their 43 yr old technical director could be a good bet, a better bet than Steve Bruce anyway. Already established within the spurs framework, good relationship with the players and board, and very cheap at a time where clubs are habitually promoting from within. Don't think he would be passed over to take a similar gamble on Poyet/Klinsman who haven't managed at this level either.
Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: Graham C on March 05, 2012, 10:34:31 AM Pep and Jose have won the lot with various clubs and managed teams full of the best players in the world, you think they'd be interested in managing Sp*rs?
Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: dreenie on March 05, 2012, 10:53:20 AM No way will AVB become manager, think he is an arrogant swine to say the least and the premiership is better off without him.
Out of the list I'd say Klinsmann. I think someone who's not on that list, who I reckon would be a great manager for there style of play would be ROY KEANE!? ;D Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: Nakor on March 05, 2012, 11:09:29 AM AVB to Inter seems to be widely expected.
No Lambert on the list? Got to have the same value as Rodgers IMO. Gotta be Moyes for me though - he seesm head and shoulders above the rest of the list for me. Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: action man on March 05, 2012, 12:27:42 PM just can't see moyes at spurs
Title: Re: Next Spurs Manager Post by: smashedagain on March 05, 2012, 01:32:26 PM Has Redknapp been sacked?

This ROY KEANE!? ;D Shouldn't be allowed anywhere near managment again. just can't see moyes at spurs That Lambert or Rodgers imo, but they have no chance realistically.
