Title: oop jacks late Post by: muckthenuts on March 05, 2012, 08:41:04 AM Line check.
Late in the day in a winding down game. We're 5 handed £1-2 with the £4 mandatory straddle. Villain in the hand is a young decent player who is pretty damn aggressive and intelligent enough to use it effectively, but deffo recreational. I have a very strong read that he'll be unwilling to play for stacks light, it's late and the game is near its end so we're at the stage where people lock up their shit. He definitely views me as very aggressive in spots but so far are yet to see him get out of line vs me. 5 handed. Eff stacks £450. Villain limps UTG. Everyone limps along to me in the straddle. I hold JJ and make it £27. Villain pauses for a bit then raises to £75. Everyone folds. What and why? Depends on my mood.
That the sort of advice you were after? Thought so. Seriously though, I'm probably not folding JJ for 100bigs 5 handed, I think I'm 4betting to £130 and calling it off to be honest. Title: Re: oop jacks late Post by: skolsuper on March 05, 2012, 10:30:12 AM Just fold

Depends on my mood. + fucking one. v tilting. I would fold and tell everyone I had 27 and was trying to be funny making it £27 Title: Re: oop jacks late Post by: pleno1 on March 05, 2012, 10:44:17 AM thoughts on 4bet folding if we're deeper vs this villain?
Title: Re: oop jacks late Post by: mapp888 on March 05, 2012, 02:06:08 PM I would lean towards folding here
