Title: Aces on the Bubble
Post by: jjandellis on March 05, 2012, 06:31:11 PM
Until an orbit or so ago I've been quite Nitty. However M dropped to 4. In last orbit or so I've exploited the bubble and got myself upto about 9 without showing a single hand. Am now mid position of field. Table has tightened up considerably.

Then this hand occurs. I know its a bit of a bad beat (so not looking for 50 pences!) BUT questions:

a) I min raised hoping to induce a shove, should I have just rammed 'em in pre?
b) thoughts on my post flop action - look ok? Or again, play faster?

Did you minraise with not so premium hands?

Did you minraise with not so premium hands?

All my raises are varying between 2 and 2.25, no correlation to hand strength tbh

Just make them all exactly the same.

That way you know there definitely won't be any link between raise size and hand strength.
