Title: what odds
Post by: pleno1 on March 06, 2012, 05:35:38 PM
Would a 100/200nl player get to beat 5nl playing a VPIP of 100% when the action hasn't been 3bet in front of him to show a profit over 10,000 hands?

what are the rules regarding 'staying at tables'? can you just play 1 orbit and move to a new game constantly?!

you ask some funny questions.

no rules, just 10k hands, but obviously would be playing around 6 tables at a time and playing semi reguarly. As long as the pot has NOT been 3betted before we HAVE to voluntary put money into the pot.

Are you filtering out the 3-bet in front of him hands in a hem database, or is it simply he is not obliged to enter those hands, but can of he wants?

I expect this would have been pretty profitable a couple of years ago.  I played quite a few hands at that level for some promotion a couple of years ago and so many of them were terrible that you could probaly do this and cbet 100% and check fold turns and still make a profit.

I'd keep away from stars to do this, but there must still be sites where people still play this bad?

I'm not sure you would with a 100% vpip. Once those players are in th pot they are staying. Good for your good hands but you'll be playing too many bad. The rake is also ridic at those levels

The rake is going to be a massive factor here as it is a massive amount of bb/100 compared to higher stakes. Would be an interesting bet for sure.
