Title: The Clock On My PC Is Speeding! Post by: Karabiner on March 20, 2012, 11:06:23 AM As per the title my PC's clock keeps getting ahead of itself and I have to correct it almost every day.
It's usually just a couple of minutes but today it was running five minutes fast and it really bugs me. I think it has only started happening since I have been using chrome as my default browser but whether these are connected is beyond me by some considerable distance as my techno-duncery is well-known. Any suggestions will be gratefully received. Assuming you are on Windows 7. Right click the clock in the lower right. Select Adjust Date/Time. Select the Internet Time tab It should say "This computer is set to automatically synchronize with 'xxxxxxxxxx'. <- something in place of the xxx'x It probably doesn't so click Change Settings In the server box put time.windows.com Tick the box and press Update Now.
