Title: Re: TT critic my play Post by: outragous76 on March 25, 2012, 07:48:49 PM turn i get the openend straight draw but what is he paying off the river with?Title: Re: TT critic my play Post by: EvilPie on March 25, 2012, 08:02:54 PM turn i get the openend straight draw Lol. You big fish :D You've got 8 cards to hit of which 2 of them he might well have in his hand. That's a 6 to 1 shot. It's cost you 925 to have a look if your 6 to 1 shot comes in. If it comes in and you get paid in full you get 3210 + what's in the pot before you call which is a total of 5870 This is pretty much 6 to 1 in total. So you need to stack him 100% of the time for this to be mathematically worth considering. As Guy says you aren't often going to get the lot when you hit. Add the possibility of him having kk to reduce your chances of hitting and it's just not worth it. Disclaimer: I have a hangover so the numbers might be out. Title: Re: TT critic my play Post by: DMorgan on March 31, 2012, 04:06:51 PM c/f flop. You're set mining pre. In an $11 MTT thats fine. if villain was decent I'd fold pre.
