Title: The dog met the parrot Post by: tonytats on March 26, 2012, 11:07:50 AM Went to see an old friend on Saturday we've been mates for 25 years on and off recently been a bit off as he used to work for me as a sub contractor 4 years ago in the downturn I had no work for him so eventually folded his business slightly blaming me I think !
He came over for a cuppa Friday and said he had a few bits and consumables left in his shed " would I be interested in buying them " "yup " So Saturday was arranged I got round there with my dog a border terrier ,he let's us in and shows me the parrot the best "pet"he's ever had he proudly tells me it's on top of a 6 foot tall cage my dog goes a bit frantic on seeing the parrot standing on back legs barking etc so we exit the room and shut the door Have a cup ot t etc bit of chit chat then start taking the stuff outta the shed into my van As I re enter the house the front room door pops open The dog is straight in there barking at the parrot Which was quite safe till it deceided to try and fly round the room landing on a bean bag The dog grabs it in it's teeth The parrot starts squawking I nearly shit myself Grab my dog by the scruff of the neck shake it twice it let's go of the parrot ! Phew Exit the room shut door carry on getting stuff from shed say nothing Look in room 10 mins later the parrots back on it's perch Finish our deal put dog in van ask to see parrot again It looks ok but is shaking my mate says " wonder what's up with parrot" then " fk me where's all these feathers come from" I look innocent ;whistle; and say nothing Wwyd Title: Re: The dog met the parrot Post by: smashedagain on March 26, 2012, 11:32:22 AM Hope my mate does nOt read blonde.
