So the following people have agreed to join the syndicate

Pleno1
Dubai
Keys - Please Confirm - no hard feelings if you want to go out
Doobs
Claypole
Fraser

We will all send $400 a week to one of the above to play a schedule of around $2400 which includes $400 from the guy playing himself, the schedule can consist of any tournaments the player wants to play but to stress again we are looking to win lots of money not break even, so playing a $200 instead of 4 50's is definitely preferable. All of this money must be sent by Saturday at the very latest.

If the player returns any money he keeps 50% for himself and sends 10% to each of the other 5 guys in the syndicate.

As stated above all players in the syndicate will play 1 week, although they can pass their week on to somebody else. So for example, I don't want to play, I would let one of the other guys play my week, the other 4 guys would keep 10% each (40%) and the player and the players choice will keep 30% each. Although I assume everybody will take their right to play.

Doobs has already stated that he would like to play the first week so I have reserved this for him. Everybody please post ITT when is best for them and we will have the schedule all sorted before April 8th.

No turbo or hyper turbos are allowed.

Effectively you are swopping percentages with each other.Generally when you swop with some body in the live arena you know there is equal value , therefore it would only work if all the syndicate is of a " similar ability " , has the capacity to play multi  MTTs online , and the game to go deep in tournaments on a regular basis.

Id be interested if it was structured well....maybe start with less players say 5 or 6 ? with option to add on later ?

Yeah, I'd be up for this as well - I think for anyone not staked / or playing to a lower BR / or running bad / or has to work on a Monday could be interesting and a bit fo fun, sort of 10 Sunday sweats for the cost of one schedule.  Take Frasers point about ability, based on current online form you could play for me Pads ;-) - would deffo be interested...quite like Frasers idea about less people.  If 6 could be 10% s and 50/50 when you play - obv over six weeks.

If all trustworth / known  blondes we could just agree schedule and play 6 with no trasnfers required and transparaency on this thread etc

Could actually be in for this as I only ever manage to play about 1 in 3 sundays at best but really I want to have action every week. It strongly depends on the quality of the other players though.

I play about 1 in 50 Sundays, so if this increases it to 1 in 6/10 or whatever then im in. But need to see player list first, no disrespect to anyone etc. 6 people could work with a 50/10/10/10/10/10 split as dont mind taking -ev swaps that much if still have half self and some interest in the other weeks

I propose 6 people. $2-3k buyins- schedule of 8-10 comps?  Each person says what Sundays they are available for the next 6-12 weeks as some none might be available and some are Scoop. We then do random draw for ones they are available. Each person is responsible for paying for his week, shares are 50/10/10/10/10/10. Obviously done on trust of so super reputable people only

Im relaxed whatever we agree.... that schedule was just a starting point ....we can change it around to suit as and when as long as there is transparency

i know fraser/shaun/dubai might not have accounts elsewhere but theres some incred comps on different sites on sunday, i agree with dubai that we should be able to play a relaxed sched with minimum 2k schedule picking any comps with 100k plus guarantees. Obv were not in this to win a 20r for 6k

Yes, there is an NCP....name is on Fox website, its  Brewer Street, W1F 0LA. Defo worth parking there as you get a fixed rate ticket from the Fox for £11.80 rather than stupid souterhn London proces of about £70 for 24 hrs

One thinng Fraser...Fox give you a ticket...you need this AND your original entry ticket!  Put both in and it discounts proce, first time i did this I just put the ticket Fox gave me in, it ate it at 5am in morning and I had a red mist strop....man came out, opened machine etc etc.  Then told me what an idiot I was as I need to put original ticket in as well to discount proce lol

Well I am happy to do whatever, Im pretty flexible on schedule - we should agree a min max range, say $2.5k to $3k and leave to individual, that means they can control timings, number of tables etc.  Like Pads said tho, maybe some criteria as were not in it to win a 6k 20r.  

I'd certainly personally put a couple of lower variance biggies field size in - prob either the 100euro + 50r on Microgamming and the Party Hi roller but I am happy to leave that to each individual with the names mentioned

Maybe worth Pads emailing individually Keys, Dubai, me, Fraser, Doobs, him to confirm - I guess may be a bit embarrsing to challenge in public.  Like I say, I'm past worrying about it and know my place....but may be best approach.  My OPRs are all public - summary, some good scores and positive ROI on all major sites, but I am -69% ROI on stars 2012 and it has dragged my lifetime down to about 3% from 24% in 7 months which is shocking.  Other sites still all good and I can supply microgamming, ipoker aliases if needed

I can only really commit to 1 April and 8 April.  The 15th clashes with the DTD £1m, though chances are I'll be out day 1!  From the week after that I can't do a big schedule on Sundays.

If this means I am out, then fine.  I am on pocket 5s, luckily I can't get my bad ipoker one to work, and the Sky one is Doooobs.

Any thoughts about having more than 1 player per week? Id prefer to play sooner rather than later, got stuff coming up, MC, SCOOP, 25k etc

How about  making the percentages not as top heavy so everybody has more of a vested interest when not playing  ?

Maybe..... the player gets 40 % and 5 x 12% other members or 35% and 5 x 13%  or even  30% and  5 x 14%

As I said Im relaxed whatever is decided but with a bigger slice each week it makes the potential sweat more interesting

meh, 10 and 12% isn't much difference and its a lot easier to do it in slices of 10.

Good stuff.  The first week is good as pokerstars.fr has a 2 day SCOOP on.  Hopefully this prolongs the sweat.

Anybody fancy a side $50/$100 or so on the top scorer?  Winner takes all.  I probably have a disadvantage in this as other know the score to beat, but can't say it matters too much.  I don't think it can be much more than this, as then the others will be getting 10% and having to pay it straight back.

I'm in depending on some conditions:

1. No super or hyper turbos. I'm going to include my best value tournaments in this (mainly cos I don't want the wooden spoon) and don't want to be swapping that action for meaningless variance.
2. I will be playing other tournaments alongside this as I assume will most of the rest of you so a full list of tournaments included needs to be posted itt strictly before the first tournament starts. E.g. If you play the kickoff but don't post in time then you have your own action in that.

I liked this idea to solve a practical problem of me not being able to play every sunday, if everyone else is just doing this for a bit of fun/bit of a shot-taking/bit of a gamble then feel free to leave me out.

I'll be in the caribbean from 12th-29th April and can't really do before then either, so unless pleno can swap from May 6th would it be ok if I do May 13th?

Supersonic is generally ok for me as big prizepool and alot more sattys than your general turbo tournament.


I work every Monday so can't play every Sunday so usually play around once every 6 or 7 weeks so this idea works perfectly for me.

I'll take the 29th....happy to do 15th if I have busted UKIPt but obv don't want to go with that attitude.

I was just a bit gobsmacked when pleno's response to "no super or hyper turbos" was "yeah agree 100% just the one $200 hyper then". Honestly I worry for the human race sometimes.

Does also make me wonder about whether everyone knows what makes a comp good value for this, we're not concerned about hourly because it doesn't take me any hours to send doobs $240, all that matters is ROI. What do you think your ROI is in the supersonic pleno? I'll give you a clue: it's lower than in 4x $50 regular speed comps.

well i mena playing 82$ hypers and other turbos and playing the supersonic is a little different imo as soft, biggest turbo guarantee etc, if you're playing a good schedule and theres 1 tournament in thats a turbo and still going to be +ev and have a chance of a big bink then I would have thought its fine, but more than prepared to go with what you say tbh.

This could work... 7 man team, 7 week plan (maybe $2800 schedule weekly )  40% player  6 x 10% (anything below 10% in my opinion is too diluted and not worth it)

The problem then could be that  Dubai has already stated "50% or not in"    so Im not sure what else is a workable solution.

Timing was obviously terrible for my week.  Final tabled the 150 the week before and the 500 last night.  Both ended nastily, but still managed a decent enough cash.

Yes for sure, sounds good.  I missed catching up in Dublin, I busted horribly at 6.30pm ish on Saturday - and the only good thing about that was the timing was perfect to be dragged to the dogs with Trigg and the boys and then get hammered until 5 am :-).  Ended up a good weekend, too little sleep and two much drink.
