Title: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Pinchop73 on April 02, 2012, 03:48:37 PM Playing 4 handed on a feeder table. All decide on a round of each. Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
I'm dealt Ts Tc Kd Aspades UTG, I raise to £7. Button calls, blinds fold. Flop (£17) 8d Qh Th Hero bets £13. Villain calls. Turn (£33) Ac Hero checks. Villain checks. River (£33) 8h Hero ? Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Skippy on April 02, 2012, 04:08:30 PM Asks for a deck change?
Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: SuuPRlim on April 02, 2012, 04:20:17 PM Just bet the turn, too hard to play otherwise.
Bet now, although knowing eXACTLY what the river card is would be helpful, assuming its a board pair, BET. he'll likely chk back a lot of flushes and almost certainly won'ty call a c/r so betting is the only play imo Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Pinchop73 on April 02, 2012, 05:32:24 PM Sorry guys, posted on me phone, corrected now.
Fairly simple spot, just interested in seeing which river line others would take and why. Fwiw villain is a bad reg. Doesn't read hands too well so is pretty bad at value betting. Also hopefully he will fold, and then you wont have to explain why there are 2 Th 's in the deck. Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Pinchop73 on April 02, 2012, 05:58:07 PM Yes, I'm bad. :p Fixed it now.
I really didn't want to bet the turn as I'd be in a FML spot if he raised. Thinking now, would the turn be a b/c or a b/f? I felt he would bet a flush otr which is why I c/r'd. Drat. Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: strak33 on April 02, 2012, 06:33:58 PM Dont know if the op is now correct but yeah just bet turn aswell.
Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Pinchop73 on April 02, 2012, 07:35:56 PM Yeah OP is correct, so you'd b/c the turn?
Obv I've c/r'd trying to get maximum value from his flushes. *lightbulb moment* But if villain is never calling his flushes, it makes no sense me letting him dictate the price. D'oh. Cheers Dave Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: strak33 on April 02, 2012, 07:41:08 PM It is a horrible spot if he raises the turn but i am not expecting to get raised on this turn much.
Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Patonius2000 on April 02, 2012, 08:00:47 PM You should b/f turn depending on how deep you are. Bet 25 otr.
Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Pinchop73 on April 02, 2012, 08:04:04 PM So you'd b/f the turn. Makes sense, I'm only getting raised by this guy with JKxx/AAxx, he defo only calls with QQ, might even fold it.
Annoyed I played it the way I did now. cheers guys. Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: Pinchop73 on April 02, 2012, 08:05:36 PM You should b/f turn depending on how deep you are. Bet 25 otr. Thanks. Can't believe I didn't mention stacks. He has £330, I cover. Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: GreekStein on April 02, 2012, 08:15:29 PM You should b/f turn depending on how deep you are. Bet 25 otr. /thread Title: Re: Live Omaha £1/2 Post by: SuuPRlim on April 02, 2012, 11:58:39 PM You should b/f turn depending on how deep you are. Bet 25 otr. yh sorry bet to fold if he raises the turn. No-1 raises the turn without it, speshly live. if you're under 1.5 PSB eff then we're getting into pot/call/get there territory |
