Title: prem 11 Post by: pleno1 on April 03, 2012, 12:13:38 AM saw the players player awards are upcoming and they sent in the nominees 2 weeks ago. Thoughts on the x11?
Krul ivanovic colocini kompany enrique mata modric parker silva ba rvp thought robbie keane was different class when he came back, but not enough games. Yaya toure was v.good but away for most of the season. Think krul/hart is close. Also ba been poor since xmas but probably deserves a place. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: mondatoo on April 03, 2012, 12:15:46 AM Rooney though ?
Krul ivanovic colocini kompany enrique Bale Mata Silva Valencia Rooney RVP I'm not sure on Ivanovic but there are just no World Class rb's in the lge. I think Modric is overrated and although Valencia has missed a decent amount of the season I think he's abs class so makes the team. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: Horneris on April 03, 2012, 12:21:06 AM Good team but would have to have Toure Yaya in for Parker.
Hart should be in goal too but Krul would have to be 2nd, hes class. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: pleno1 on April 03, 2012, 12:35:28 AM meh bale is good, but not sure if hes been consistent enough to warrant a place. ba > rooney this year imo.
Carroll obv tho.. Sigurdson from swansea has been incredddd since he came to prem, baines for lb instead of enrique perhaps aswell. Phil jones > ivanovic? Also think ramires has been incred so perhaps > parker. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: mondatoo on April 03, 2012, 12:50:07 AM Hart has made a few more mistakes this season than Krul and is in a team that defends a lot less so Krul>Hart for me. I think Bale's had his most consistent season this season. Rooney is a better allround player than Ba so has to be in ahead of him.
Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: George2Loose on April 03, 2012, 01:11:21 AM Hart
Luis Enrique Kompany Colicini Walker Bale Silva Yaya Toure Valencia Rvp Rooney TBH shows two things. One, how poor United are but somehow still 5 points clear and 2 how shit the prem really is. How many of the above would get into a la liga/prem team combined? Probs RVP? Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: The Camel on April 03, 2012, 01:21:11 AM Think I would almost put Ledley King in central defence along with Kompany. The Prem is so short of decent centre backs it's not funny. And King was immense in Tottenham's brilliant run in the middle of the season.
If you don't pick Bale, you whole opinion of the team of the season is invalid, because you obviously don't know anything about football. He's the only British born outfield player who could get in the Barca team. (Think Hart could too probs). Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: The Camel on April 03, 2012, 01:23:46 AM Hart Luis Enrique Kompany Colicini Walker Bale Silva Yaya Toure Valencia Rvp Rooney TBH shows two things. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: pleno1 on April 03, 2012, 01:48:46 AM luis enrique???! Haha
silva would never get ahead of xavi/iniesta. Collocini > king simply because he hasnt missed a game apart from the last one lol and has basically pulled us into the top 6. I dont think valencia warrants a place tbh, hes v.v.v.vgood but hasnt played that much at all and ashley youngs form at the start of the season was as good as valencias now. Also didnt rooney go through a 2month+ bad period? Bale has been good but definitely not consistent as he should/can/will be. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: The Camel on April 03, 2012, 01:49:26 AM Valdes/Casillas >>> Krul/Hart. Over Krul for sure. Krul is good, no doubt about that. But Joe Hart is another planet to him as far ability goes. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: pleno1 on April 03, 2012, 01:51:31 AM hart
sergio ramos pique kompany ashley cole xavi alonso Really want to put tiote in here would compliment team so well xavi iniesta messi ronaldo rvp Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: The Camel on April 03, 2012, 01:53:29 AM luis enrique???! Bale on the left and Silva on the right in a 4 4 2 or 4 4 1 1. Or play Bale at left back in a 4 3 2 1 with Silva and Messi behind RVP or Ronaldo. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: pleno1 on April 03, 2012, 01:55:09 AM fabregas > silva ?

I'm not a huge Hart fan tbh, he is v good but has made quite a few mistakes this season and I think the English media way overhype his abilities. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: Josedinho on April 03, 2012, 07:05:28 AM Vorm
Richards Colocini Evans Baines Bale Sessegnon Toure Silva RVP Ba Would love to put Gylfi in but save that for next season when he's at one of the Manchester clubs Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: millidonk on April 03, 2012, 07:13:42 AM Surprised at the lack of mentions of Chamberlain. Obv he is young and not overly experienced, but no way would I be leaving him out of my Prem starting XI. Everytime I have seen him he has looked outstanding.
Lol at Krul even close to Hart. DeGea has been decent as well ever since his shocking start to the season. Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: Matt.NFFC. on April 03, 2012, 08:50:56 AM I think Brad Friedel has been excellent for Spuds this season......that save at the weekend sticks in my mind. Would have Friedel over all keepers in Prem TBF.
Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: MahoganyVic on April 03, 2012, 09:34:12 AM Wheres Jonny Evans???
Last ten games he's better than Bobby Moore+Baresi+Beckinbaur combined ;tightend; Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: pleno1 on April 03, 2012, 10:33:25 AM Evans cost United some points though right?
Also Chamberlain has hardly played all season. Ben Arfa > Chamberlain Title: Re: prem 11 Post by: NoflopsHomer on April 03, 2012, 01:20:28 PM Surprised at the lack of mentions of Chamberlain.
