This gentleman is playing 65/5/1 (very loose passive) his agg. frequency is 1.2 overall and 1.1 on the turn What this means is he is very very passive and he doesn't valuebet well What you gonna do? Title: Re: PLO - W Post by: jackinbeat on April 11, 2012, 12:52:39 AM I'm no expert, but this kinda feels like he's called with a weak AAxx hand, I've had a similar spot to this, but managed a fold as I'd seen the player do that before, and fortunately made a note. How many hands had the villian played to get those stats? I'm thinking this could be exploited though, but still think a fold is right, when you say he's not value bet well prior to this, are you saying he's the kind of player just to lump it in with the 2nd nuts, or nuts if he's holding AA8x?
Title: Re: PLO - W Post by: JK on April 11, 2012, 01:06:13 AM Expect to get shown A8 here fairly often, probably 68 too. I know his stats are massively tez, but is he going nuts with 8xxxx? Also we're not closing which is annoying if he is going beserk
Title: Re: PLO - W Post by: TommyD on April 11, 2012, 01:27:20 AM I want to throw up a little just looking at that. Such a pretty hand, a lovely flop that is even good enough to come rainbow and a turn card you think could be good suddenly makes Mr Let's See The Next Card jump out of his chair and shovel money in. If we didn't block it I'd swear he had quads.
For me this is a super sigh fold. From what you have said he's a rather weak player and this action normally means he has at least the other 8. I hate our spot, I think against him we can find a better one later on and either way we have another villain waiting quietly behind. Massive shame to have all that equity on the flop and now ditch but I think we must. Title: Re: PLO - W Post by: rfgqqabc on April 11, 2012, 08:40:38 AM Is there a single hand he has that we beat here? Plus a guy to act behind, altho its probably safe to say hes folding a very hihg % of the time
