I was meant to head down from Gibraltar through North Africa and down the West Coast of Africa into Cameroon. Rod - am going back this year, EITHER @ Xmas again, which is OK, but short days & non-stop rain of course, OR September. I recall being at Loch Lomond many moons ago, & the midges were perfectly awful, quite spoiled it.
