38 players in the first event Event 1: No-Limit Hold'em - Super High Roller - Reload - 8-Max

5 players had a second €100,000 bullet

www.pokerstarsblog.com reports

"Isaac Haxton, Justin Bonomo, Dietrich Albrecht and Bill Perkins all purchased second bullets worth €100,000 each but the most interesting reload came from Leon Tsoukernik. The high roller from the Czech Republic spent his dinner break playing craps where he won €70,000. After being eliminated from the Super High Roller he promised to be back should he spin up the €70,000 into €100,000. A few shakes of a lambs tale and he was back with his €100,000 and became our fifth reload."

As to who has what

"The chip leader is Talal Shakerchi on 1,165,000. He overtook Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel, in the final few hands, when he eliminated Viktor Blom. Some of the players who did not make it through yesterday, but have a chance to re-enter today, include Gus Hansen, Sam Trickett, Jason Mercier, Govert Metaal, Mike McDonald, Daniel Cates, Artem Litvinov and the man himself Leon Tsoukernik."

Justin Bonomo has won the PokerStars European Poker Tour Grand Final €100,000 Super High Roller event, earning €1,640,000. With this massive win, Bonomo’s tournament earnings now surpass $5.2 million.

Bonomo entered the final table of eight with an overwhelming chiplead, holding roughly 40 percent of the total chips in the play. He utilised his chip advantage, knocking out five opponents on his way to the title.

Only six players made the money, and the unfortunate player to bust on the €310,000 bubble was Jonathan Duhamel. Eugene Katchalov also made the final table but not the money, finishing in eighth.

Place    Player    Payout
1st    Justin Bonomo    $2,167,588
2nd    Tobias Reinkemeier    $1,406,289
3rd    Bertrand Grospellier    $820,776
4th    Patrik Antonius    $585,513
5th    Masaaki Kagawa    $468,543
6th    Daniel Negreanu    $409,727

A win for Cailly would have been worth a fortune in advertising money.

Surprised the deal didn't involve her taking the trophy.

Igor Kurganov beats Negraneau to win the High Roller

Toby 'Ernie' Lewis just chopped the last 5k 6 max event for 126K.
His two pals Matt Perrins & Chris Brammer also made the final table but could only manage 5th + 6th to their mentor and master : )

Although we could not quite muster a Grand Final Main Event champion from the UK or Ireland we did manage to show the rest of the world how is it done in the last few events on the schedule; especially in the €5,000 No Limit Hold'em Six-Max event and the special Tournament of Champions.

In the €5,000 Six-Max event we had no fewer than three players on the final table, Chris Brammer, Matt Perrins and Toby Lewis and between then they won over €146,000. Brammer was the first player to be eliminated from the final table and he was joined on the rail by Perrins who first lost {A-}{K-} against {Q-}{Q-} for the chip lead then {8-}{8-} versus Lewis' {A-}{10-} to get back to average.

Amazingly Lewis was multi-tabling for part of the final table because the former EPT Vilamoura champion was also participating in the Tournament of Champions event too! Lewis went on to finish second in the €5,000 for a €90,300 score, missing out on the win thanks to American pro Dan Smith who walked away with €156,700.

Hang on I buy shares in Brammer for 2 5ks, he bricks the first, skips the second as still in main and instead of rolling it like everyone else on earth does when they are planning on playing the same buyin tournament i get refunded and he finals.

My staking life summed up right there! :(

Sick results tho wp all
