Yes, you gotta take a look at Sn8wQueen - she is a really lovely, & beautiful, lady.

She posts an icon of  Jd Jh - you will see why when you watch the show! Did she play them - a notoriously difficult hand to play - as well as she could? Watch & see what happens, it's fascinating. Me? I think she played them beautifully, especially given her inexperience.

The Commentary Team is Dr Tom Sambrook, & myself - & we have not recorded the commentary yet! We are hooking up in a London Studio at 10.00am on Friday morning (tomorrow) to put the commentary on. Fortunately, Tom will be the "expert analyser" & I will be the so-called "colour man" - or, as some unkind but probably wise insider suggested - "the stooge".

I'm quite excited about it, & I loved making the show, which we did before Christmas. Part one, which weas recorded in a London Hotel, is helping a bunch of online players make the conversion to "Live" play - more difficult than most folks realse, & Part Two, shot at a Studio in London, is the comp itself.

Sporting Odds.com were well pleased with the way it went, I think, as I have been invited to make another edition - Peoples Poker Challenge Two - in early February. Looking forward to meeting another set of players, though I doubt if any will be a stunning as Sn8wQueen!

No point Kev. They have to be able to play poker to a reasonable standard.

Thanks for trying to justify my play Tikay, inexperienced on TV I am but poker I'm not.  :D

With 2 years of playing Texas Holden No-Limit mostly live with family, 2 games at Binion’s, 1 at Rendezvous, Brighton and of course the reason why I got the last space on The Peoples Poker – SportingOdds Poker Challenge was from winning a 20 man live tourney at The Sportsman Casino in London – prize money £1000.   My biggest win yet!   Nick (my husband) coming 5th – winning £200.  It was prize money for the top 5.

I am half way through reading ‘Harrington on Hold’em’.  A very good book for those that are wanting to improve their poker skills, learn the multiply by 4 rule (one of Tikay’s tips on the 1st day) or just want to see how you would play my dreaded Jacks (check out page 130-136).   “Very few players would make the mistake of calling a bet from an early raiser before the flop with a pair of deuces”. – Quote from Harrington page 132!

Not trying to sell it but...Of course it is also the number 1 tourney poker book.

Lucky for me Nick bought Volume 1 and 2 for Christmas.  :D

You played the hand spot-on Sn8wQueen, and I know the blondeites, unused to agreeing with me as they are, will agree when they see the way the hand played out.
