I like your sizing pre, most people tend to raise too small here imo. I'd bet more on the flop though, around 900-1050 sort of range into the pot of ~1350 so that if it goes call call you can just jam turn.

The small turn lead is a strange spot but I think if he has a 2pair+ hand he would play it like this - not checking for fear that you check also. Actually he's probably more likely to bet 2pair type hands like T7 with that sizing than say a flush - so I think our flush outs are clean most of the time plus we have blockers to straight combos so I think a call on the turn/re-evaluate river would be fine.
