Pleno says what he said initially Newcastle top 6 !

Think well either draw 1 1 or get beat 4 1 this weekend

City's title now - we've done amazingly well to push them this close given the squad they have and if Tevez hadn't done a mardy act, or they hadn't lost players (particularly Yaya Toure) to the African Cup of Nations it wouldn't have been close.

But they did.

I managed to back united at 5/2 a few months back when they were miles behind. Sadly, I did so with betfair, rather than with one of those bookies who have already paid out! #squeekybumtime

People already paid on ManU should give that money back if City win. If your bet is a loser it's not ethical to profit from a mistake because the money hasn't been rightfully won. I fear that some bookies could be sacked if the money isn't returned. Doesn't sit comfortable with me.

Not sure I agree with the moral argument, although it would be a shame if jobs were lost.

A gambling contract is technically void as soon as it is created. The only duty Mr Hill, Mr Power and Mr Fred have is to give you your stake back. It's all a gentleman's agreement and if he is happy to pay out, so.be it

errr shouldnt you wait to see if they have actually paid out on a losing bet as they will probaly win it if man city dont beat newcastle on sunday an thier odds of 7/4 which arnt odds of a loser will probaly be 1/8 on i guess?

you think they can beat Newcastle in their current form an at St james park or the sports direct arena as its now called ! Newcastle being backed like they cant lose last 24 hours as City drifting in priemership betting an match betting !

Arsenal 3 ~ 3 Norwich City

What a good result that is for the title race. Newcastle have an even bigger motivation now surely.

Not sure if it is still the case but doing this used to get the bookies a lot of publicity, news stories etc about the fact they had already paid out. This would bring them more exposure and cost less than a nationwide advertising campaign. It seems a lot more common place now so not sure if it is still true.

And I think Man City will win the league but I also think Newcastle will make it hard for them tomorrow but they will come through.

We all know u r a man utd fan an quite frankly u r spot on in ur analaysis ! Newcastle could even draw an that would be a good result for them ! Im sure Man Utd have lost both league games to their title contenders in the past an still gone on to win title nevertheless. Would be harsh on City on whole seasons form but i guess Man utd have simply won games that other teams dont an that could be the differance come end of season !

Appropriate that the 6-1 at Old Trafford is probably going to account for the difference in Goal Difference that looks like handing City the title.

It was the most astonishing performance and result in a season of great games which defined the season.

Overreaction m8! An its not all over ? Why cant they get a draw an put 10 men behind the ball ,what teams have been doing since xmas when city have been playing awaY admitedly they had most trouble wt teams like west brom , sunderland, everton, swansea ,stoke an i actually think alot of them would of been happy wt a draw but nicked a win out of it! With a draw for qpr a result that puts less pressure for them to go for a win so it might frustrate city like it did after xmas? We shall c !
