People already paid on ManU should give that money back if City win. If your bet is a loser it's not ethical to profit from a mistake because the money hasn't been rightfully won. I fear that some bookies could be sacked if the money isn't returned. Doesn't sit comfortable with me.

What a good result that is for the title race. Newcastle have an even bigger motivation now surely.

Not sure if it is still the case but doing this used to get the bookies a lot of publicity, news stories etc about the fact they had already paid out. This would bring them more exposure and cost less than a nationwide advertising campaign. It seems a lot more common place now so not sure if it is still true.

And I think Man City will win the league but I also think Newcastle will make it hard for them tomorrow but they will come through.

Im sure Man Utd have lost both league games to their title contenders in the past an still gone on to win title nevertheless.
