While we are on this subject, the software needs a clear countdown clock somewhere to the end of the rebuy period. I have searched everywhere and have not managed to find a way to work out when it ends.

I am going to try and attempt to get over tonight. The doctor said I shouldn't drink, but fook him what does he know, I drank a full bottle of champagne to myself last night for my 19th birthday! FOOK IT.

Hopefully I can get my driver off the Friday shift and will make things a little easier as I am smelling an overlay.

off topic but as you mention "championship regs" it is the end of the season tomorrow, and i wonder if Alex will consider Peejay has got an automatic promotion or if he is battling away and doing some nail biting a la west ham/blackpool.

Chips and blinds at 7.30 Please?

This is my guess from previous updates, you'd need to ring up to get something more concrete

30k starting, 30-40 minute clock

You should arrive at the end of 400-800 playing 23k or so

Nah he's not been promoted. He missed out just on the account of not going to Vegas and not owning a balla car.

Nope they will be up when the field sits down at 1.30pm

I would expect 27 paid a minimum of £225, but that's only my guess

I have to say this is the best weekly tourney we have every done in terms of format, obviously not in terms of prizepools, when were were down to 9 players the average was 45BB, and 30,000 enuf chips at the start to make a few mistakes. I love the 30/40 clock format, definitely an advantage to the better players, if I get back from UKIPT Dublin I think I'll play this £150 at the weekend to try the format myself. Obviously we won't win the prize for originality by using the WSOP main event blinds and ante structure, but at £150 (or £135 + £15), best comp we have every done IMO

I think the structures perfect now, no need for any more tweaks. Starting day 2 with a 40 minute clock is the best part imo. And I don't know why this wouldn't count as an original structure, isn't the WSOP structure a 2 hour clock which we wouldn't expect nor want you to do 'cause that would be ridiculously long.

Played the £150 tonight, as much as I'm still reeling from the suck out, got to say, the £150 is a great tournament, brilliant structure and the prize pool is immense for a £150 buy in. It's also affordable for even a recreational player like myself... Hats off to you again DTD.. Paving the way...

I'll definitely play again...

Hi Guys

The sun is shining and it's day 1b of our £50K GTD £150 Deepstack. Last night we had 118 entries and only 72 currently playing today.

You have until 7.40pm to get down and take advantage of the excellent value :)

"Even with the UKIPT / SCOOP / and Champions League we only had a small overlay in last weeks £150, this week the good old British weather has dealt us a crushing blow! We need 370 entries to hit the £50,000 guarantee, so far we have 118 from Friday and 111 so far today as we end level 4, a total of 229, this means we currently have an overlay of £19,000, late reg / re entry is till 7.40pm,..."

Soul read there George. I got up too early, cleaned the kitchen then cooked an omelete with ham, tomatoes & spinach. What a domestic goddess I am, slave to the kitchen by day and poker whore by night. Wot a life.

I'm not generally a spinach fan, but it's lovely in an omelette.  Peas are fkn mank except when added to egg fried rice.

I played the 150 for the first time yesterday. Despite busting 3 mins before the end of day 1b, I just wanted to congratulate DTD on a brilliant tournament; great structure, nicely timed (doesn't need to be longer than 30 min levels with those blinds and a 30k starting stack IMO).

If you are a lower limit player and want to give a bigger comp a go, this would be a great one to play, too. It is a forgiving comp; it let's you get a hero call wrong (or consistently get pwned by the gentleman forever known only as the captain' - largely because I was too busy losing pots to him to get his real name) and you can relax into the game without having to clock-watch.

Had a great day, despite a tough table and not many opportunities to kick on.

Def would play this again in future.

This is my first post so I hope this is in the appropriate place (please forgive me if not). I haven't yet played in a £150, I'm an old school bankroll nit who isn't ashamed to admit that I don't have thousands of £££'s behind me to buy straight in but I hope there's plenty of time for that :-) and satelliting into one or more of the bigger DTD events is firmly on my 12 month goals list! . I was just following this weekend's £150 and noticed that Michael Wright is in the final 9. I believe he is Flushthemout on here and I met him during our deep runs during the last Grand Prix on day 2 and we went all the way to the final table together. I'd love to see him have a big score in this one. He sought me out on Friday night to say hi and that's a real measure of the guy, a true gent. During that Grand Prix final day I discovered the excellent (and very amusing) live tournament reporting on here and everything else on this amazing forum. I've been playing at DTD for a couple of years now and this site and the excellent posters on here have really made me feel more a part of the DTD family over the last few weeks and am starting to recognise and be recognised by more of the regular faces and names every week. I'm really looking forward to getting involved with more blonde events and hopefully I'll get into the bash in a couple of weeks. I hope to meet and speak to more of you in the future. Thanks for listening to my ramble :D

It was a tight table, but the presence of very short stacks and big money jumps can make people fold AJ to a three-bet. Might not be objectively correct but I'm sure we'll see worse in bigger comps

Oh absolutely not! Quite the opposite. I meant it as a riposte to the post that was slagging off the standard of play. I watched it on the live stream and enjoyed it. If I thought it were rub-worthy I would have found something else to do! I've seen a few finals where there are a few aggro players but this one was a bit more tense: players were agonising over decisions and you could feel the emotions. It was great.

The point I had made so poorly was that it is easy to pick a couple of hands and conclude that the standard of play was sub-optimal (lol @ "horrific" btw) and therefore not worth watching. But from a few hours of watching the action, I enjoyed it and the fact that the players were playing relatively tightly added an interesting dynamic.

I certainly don't regard that as a criticism and wouldn't want it to be taken that way.

No no i was just joking :-). I exited versus AJ at some stage during this tourney. Lets just say it potentially cost me a few quid :-D wasnt having a go
