Does anybody do anything different other then flat on the flop raise?

Think raising the flop is acceptable. He is pretty unlikely to have KK imo, and about a half of the deck is terrible. A/K/Q/T/9/d

I think this is defo worth a squeeze pre-flop, speshly in zoom where people get out pre-flop a little more often, the hand will near on ALWAYS be 3way but you buy position by making the btn fold and get rid of the BB who'll have chk/quick fold clicked most of the tim, so 3handed, IP this hand will play just fine :)

I'd re-raise/stack  off on the flop, there is no reason he can't have KK aand when he gets his stack in he is prolly going to have it quite a bit (although his sizing looks very much like a draw to me)  however we need to protect our equity from a multi-way turn card as the board is so wet. So we get it in HU vs the flop 3better, despite his range being very strong so we can prevent seeing a multi-way turn card where everyone between them will have plenty of cards to hit.

As played we have to chk/fold now, there is a strong chance a lot of our boat outs are blocked and most flush draws will have picked up enough additional equity to continue anyways.

Dave where the hell are you.  Possibly in the states? Can't be Europe because it's the morning over here?

Ah, a Leeds local - where are the best cash games to be had? I've heard that Naps can get a bit wild and Grosvenor is full of muppets so that leaves Alea and Gala, thoughts on both?

/end Hijack

With regards to OP I'll be trying to get my stack in on the flop as I think he's drawing. I don't want any nasty turn suprises after flat calling and now have my pants around my ankles with only one card to come. As played I think I'm chk/folding now.

Without wishing to de-rail the thread ;)

Naps game used to be sick, £2/£5 crazy action money moving all over the place, £1k flips, £4k pots etc people were gambling and it was a nice friendly game as well. Since then though it's kinda simmered out, prolly due to economics more than anything - Still have good game on a Tuesday (PM me about it) which is £2/£2 or sometimes £2/£5 and the action is a lot slower than it was, people buyin for like 200~

Alea is all but non-existent for poker despite the efforts of the guys who work there (top guys) problem is as far as i'm aware that there is no support or backing from HO for the poker, so under-funded, under-promoted and a little out of the way means as things stand ATM it's not worth worrying about for poker.

Grosvenor IDK I actually rarely go in there but I'd imagine the games would be smallest out of everywhere there but might be wrong (apologies Grosvenor if I am) it's a decent enough place though and again the guys running it are really good guys so would defo advise giving it a chance.

Gala has a 50p/£1 game that runs relentlessly from I think ~9-10pm every night, and th games can but don't always play quite big afaik, they also run £1/£2 pretty often as well and also a £1/£1 and £2/£2 PLO games which is getting pretty popular and I think running near on every night. They have the tourney monopoly basically so they will get 2-5 tables every night. Again I don't go in all that often so I ma well be slightly out-of-the-loop.

tl;dr Version.

Go to Gala. But do give naps on a Tuesday a go one day just to see, the games are both quite different so chances are you'll prefer one for w/e reason and they both play similar in terms of size (naps a little bigger) Unless you wanna play bigger than that still, in which case PM me ;)
