Title: Need someone clever Post by: RED-DOG on May 18, 2012, 08:39:17 AM There appears to be a problem with the micro SD card in my phone.
The phone works fine without it, but when I put it back in it crashes all the time. I can't format it in the phone because when I access the card the phone crashes. I can access the card from my lappy via a card-reader, but I can't format it because it says it's write-protected. How do I un write protect it please? I've deleted everything except one folder named 'Android'. It says it can't delete that because the 'cache is not empty'. ? I've opened folder and found the 'cache' file. It appears to go away when I delete it, but when I then try to delete the folder, it's back again. My housemate had a bad card in his android phone, and he kept taking photos which would appear as if they were on the memory card, then disappear a few hours later. The fix was to get another card. If you are getting weird behaviour, it might just be better to get another one from eBay.

I would like to format this one and try it though. You want at least class 6, if not higher.
