Title: Tough Decision? .50/1 live hand
Post by: Junior Senior on May 20, 2012, 11:12:26 PM
Playing live at DTD .50/1. I am in hijack and facing one limper. I make it £5 with  7s 7c. I am playing stack of £120

Button calls playing £140. He has played solid for about an hour. Only history we have is he bet then 4 bet me about half hour ago on alll club flop and i folded after i 3 bet. He was easy best in that particular spot as i was making a move. I get the sense he thinks i am picking certain spots but also pretty sure he thinks i am reasonably tight.  I have been playing pretty straightforward since he sat down.

The limper also calls playing £60.  He is playing fairly loose and pretty sure he just wants to get his money in and try and double.

Flop  6d 7d 9h (£16)

Limper leads for £6

I 3 bet to £22

Button makes it £44

Limper pushes / pretty much calls all in for £51

£123 in pot.

Your move.....?

yh going with this, you're gonna be against some pretty yucky combo draws and ofc its always possible that a straight or more disastrously 99 is out there but given the likely hood of completely dominated 1p+draw/2p hands along with some draws draws sharing equity you're hand is too strong, speshly 3way, to do anything but bang em in.

First of all, the guys flop lead is one bet, which would make our raise the second bet not the third.

You're getting far too good a price in a fishy live cash game where they are going to show up with all sorts of shit on this wet a board texture. It's too late on a Sunday for me to dissect their ranges, but they are wide enough for us to pile here.

Always pile.

Fwiw not worried about the guy who leads then shoves all in with the under raise.  What about the guy on button who has min raised to £44? Can we consider flatting the under raise knowing the burton can only call too? Then what do we do on turn if board doesnt pair?

I wouldn't consider flatting this at all

So no one thinks we can fold? To be honest I never considered folding until later that night when going back through the hand. Even if we know one oppo has the straight already the price is there I think but could legitamately feel the other oppo has 999?

Maybe it's just a cooler and we need to move on?!

The maths dont lie in spots like this. Foldings not possible. throw £200 more each behind and things are more interesting
