Hi,

Fancy playing this tournament while I'm out in Vegas this summer, but don't fancy spending too big a chunk of my stripclub/goose fund on poker and would therefore like to sell 50% of my action. I'd say I have an edge over most of the field, then again I would think that and regardless of that I'm going to (try and) sell at spot.

I rarely play online at all anymore other than splashing around in bowl comps on a Sunday night occasionally when I'm waiting for the late NFL game to start. I used to play a fair bit live and played a few comps for Demps in 2009 doing well enough. Not so much in the last couple years mainly because travelling is a pain and it's expensive.

I played the Genting Fox comp last month basically bubbling when I ran into the irresistible force that is Mr Steve Watts and dem Aces. As you can see I also managed a final table in aUKIPT side event last summer and a min cash in the seniors event in the US despite not even being there  :D

In the interests of full disclosure as given by Sean in his thread last month my spine is attached to my brain, I am not however in full control of my motor functions as you'll know if you have seen me recently.

While my legs are fked, my upperbody doesn't work too badly and I should be able to refrain from my stack ending up in the middle of the table unless I intend it to do so :)

I cannot however guarantee that my preparation for the tournament will be good, well unless drinking until the early hours most nights and eating lots of rich artery clogging food is considered to be that.

I can guarantee that morale will be high though as I'll probably be spending a fair few hours relaxing in some of the finer dancing clubs in the wonderful city.

Thought I was going to persuade you to play the PLO hi lo at the WSOP.  I suspect it may be tough to bust in level 1 in a hi lo tourney and late reg.  Wouldn't put it past me though

Well I made it out here in one piece thankfully and have caught up on sleep straightaway having spent most of the last 12 hours in the land of nod!!

Going out tonight, playing the Hilo at the Wynn (dependent on tonight) or the m/e sat at Nugget and maybe the horse there tomorrow. Having read Tikay's report of that tournament I might swerve though. I would probably invoke lots of ranting due to not knowing the betting procedures in some games and having never played a couple of them too :d

Definitely going to be a more sedate first week than I've had in Vegas over the last 5 trips anyway and hopefully the heater will run all the way through it!

Ok I'll try to pop up to the cardroom at some point and barring a disaster tonight will be at the Wynn tomorrow too. I wanted to play that tournament today, but I was tasked to arrange a dinner/night out when all of the lads from our place are here and tonight was the only one which fitted for the group.

I think anything that's just H/L is limit, the one on the 26th is 'Pot Limit Omaha H/L'. I wanted to play that one, but the $1k is the same day and I'm going chasing the money!!

I actually quite like the idea of limit hilo the more I have thought about it, not that it really matters as I'm sure I'll dust them off just as quick in either format ;D

No Rhino for me so far unfortunately.....

Sorry peeps, but there is no day 2 for me....

My peak stack was 34k @ 6/1200 from a 30k start and I just never really got anything going all day. I didn't have a terrible table although there were a few very good players and I never managed to get  into any good situations at all.

I hovered between 30k and 20k for the first 6 hours, coming back from dinner to 500/1k I had 19k and was looking for a spot to get a double. I managed to chip back up to 34k as above and I made what I think was a correct fold.

I open with 88 to 2.8k @ 6/1200 100ra from the c/o playing 9 handed

Button who is a spewy german makes it 8200 (covers) has been seen to flat call ep opens from mp with Q7o and then get it in on 346 flop against the american guy who is a friend of Stevie444 so basically just bat crazy.

sb folds and bb shoves for 30k (Has only been sat for a couple rounds, not shown down anything, but is known to Stevie's friend so presume he's a good player)

I thought for a couple minutes, from the german's body language didn't get the impression he was folding and decide to muck. German AK BB AQ and AK wins.


Bustout hand hijack opens to 3.5k  @ 8/1600 w 200ra, button flat calls playing about 150k (has been at the table all day and peels a lot preflop with all sorts of random crap)

I shove 25200 with AJ, original raiser snap folds and the button thinks for a couple minutes...

I'm feeling pretty happy the longer he thinks,  when he finally calls am expecting to be in decent shape and am pretty gutted when he shows me AQ :(

Obv got battered when I went out of the comp last night, but got a few small comps to play over the next couple days and another $1k on Saturday,
