Beginners omaha problem. I'm playing the £2/2 omaha at the Vic and

Anyway, first orbit I get dealt  Aspades Ahrt 8s 2c.

I pot it from MP, and I get called by both blinds.

Flop comes down  5s 7c 8c. I am checked to, and basically just check-fold- I check, then fold to a bet on the turn.

Am I a wuss?

Ah yes. I've sat down with £110, so I'm shortish.

Turn was a brick I think.

Prob bet/fold turn then.

If you're going to sit less than 100bbs i'd sit even shorter and look to limp rr bad AA

I think you have enough equity here 3way to bet/fold this flop. top pair, AA and bd flush draw.

however the way you played was fine also, dont like betting the turn if we check the flop

Agree with you for online, but at the 2/2 in the Vic we just aren't getting exploited.

well actually, it really really depends on what the turn is lol if it changes the texture in some way or is a spade then I'd like betting a whole lot more

Check fold on the turn is fine, depending on the turn card  Qs would change your action.  What was the bet....? what was the average stack? did the blinds have you covered by more the 2/1?

I've played the 1/2 Omaha at the Vic on numerous occasions and wouldn't really say it's a difficult game to beat, depending on the players, when they bet out they've usually got it..

Based on the play there and sitting short stacked I would maybe not raise from MP (I would however on the button as the amount of my raise is going to be higher based on callers and would have closing position on each street) with your hand, as you have limited nut draws and sitting so short on the Turn with two callers you're playing for your whole stack.    

Why don't you sit with more on this table or even the minimum as the game is raked and the standard of play isn't that high, so with a hand like this you can make a decision pre flop whether you're going to run with it...  

See the hand would play completely different based on your stack size, if you were playing £80 limped from mid position, button raised to 9 sb bb called you have the opportunity to re-raise and get majority of your stack in, leaving your opponents with the decision on whether they want to play against your AA (Because your hand is literally face up) with their holdings or not...

Or Limped in, a few callers no raise, you could get a cheap flop with more then 3 players your hand is an easier fold on the turn, which would make your decisions easier.
