Title: Re: The funk for Roberto Romanello and Craig McCorkell Post by: Amatay on June 22, 2012, 04:04:47 AM Security guards have officially entered the ESPN Main Stage and are making their way through the British rail. The rowdiest of the rail birds are now being removed from the stands. Amid numerous objections from the several Brits in attendance, the security officers are being firm in their stance that they must go.
The shouts, chants, and cheers from the British rail are not limited to simply the final table, but can be heard throughout the entire Amazon room. Recently we found a tweet about this from Justin Bonomo who is playing on the other side of the Amazon room. JustinBonomo Justin Bonomo "The shoot out final table rail is so loud and obnoxious that it's very unpleasant playing in the Amazon room right now." June 21 2012 As the Brits were escorted out of the stage, all that remained in their wake is spilled beer and empty cups and bottles strewn about the stands. Read more: http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/2012-world-series-of-poker/event-36-no-limit-hold-em-shootout/ god we had this last year, I just don't understand people's problems - it's a fucking game, they build a stage for people to rail and say they want it to be like a sporting event, so they employ old women to sit there for "atmosphere" and when a final table turns up where it ACTUALLY IS LIKE a sporting event they throw everyone out?! What's the point ffs, if they want poker to be boring then leave it as it is with everyone wearing sunglases and headphones and no-one speaking and dont bother trying to change it. The comments about alcohol is stupid as well, people drink all the time grow up. As for bonomo just get a grip man, you're playing some stupid 1500 thing you prolly need to win 35x to get out of MakeUp anyways what the hell is wrong with a bit of noise? Should go open up some more accounts and try win your millions back from isildur imo Title: Re: The funk for Roberto Romanello and Craig McCorkell Post by: George2Loose on June 22, 2012, 08:15:54 PM Was it Bramm the other Brit to get thrown out? Why in particular them two?
Title: Re: The funk for Roberto Romanello and Craig McCorkell Post by: SuuPRlim on June 22, 2012, 08:26:31 PM Was it Bramm the other Brit to get thrown out? Why in particular them two? yh lol me and ash also, we werent really doing anything that OOL, grafton targeted for being the noisiest, bramm thrown out for arguing too much about grafton, ,I lost a 7 way shoe-bomb flip (sighs) + was too drunk to function (I dont think me getting thrown out was that bad of a thing tbh lol although last year boz stayed the whole middy FT and he was drinking neat vodka from a fanta bottle and ACTUALLY couldnt walk, as in he physically was too drunk to walk :D ) I wasnt there when Ash got booted but it might have had something to do with a shoe-bomb lol the pokernews photographers were inducing the shoe-bombs btw Im not a fan pof shoe-bombs, kinda gross, pretty hilarious though Title: Re: The funk for Roberto Romanello and Craig McCorkell Post by: treefella on June 22, 2012, 09:39:58 PM FFs i told him not to have fun in Vegas ! :redcard:
