It's the same for some poker players who despite their undoubted talent, application and dedication to the game they have always fallen short of reaching that pinnacle of achievement that brings with it the glory that is a Hendon Mob flag.
For one hero, the record books have been put right, and no longer must he languish amongst the Andy Murrays of the poker world. He can now come out from beneath his duvet, stand proudly, bearing his flag, purveying the bastion of players who have gone before him, and those who will strive to follow in his footsteps.
