Title: Banks
Post by: Waz1892 on June 29, 2012, 12:19:29 PM
Scandel after scandal after scandal, gambling loose rogue traders, bearings crash,  PPI's, Swaps, Interest rigging, etc etc.

More to come out over the months and years ahead, but I can't help thinking so what!?

By which I mean what can anyone do about it! I'm speaking as a customer with personal banking, with DD part and part of modern life,Internet banking etc.

No matter what comes out no matter who gets fined/jailed/closed down what can I/we do to show our "disgust" at how the banking industry is run!

We can all stop buying from certains shops and that kind of the thing, but banks? Same for petrol, big uproar papers join the bandwagon, anything change? Nothing and never will. Bit of hoohah when it tops £1.50 no doubt but it'll not change anything?

Separate investment from retail banking for starters.

I share your general banco-jadedness though.

Thing that annoys me most is that cricketers are insta-jailed for cheating and bankers cheat for vastly greater amounts and just get a slap on the wrist.

It's all a conspiracy to create one world bank controlled by one family, under the watchful eye of her Majesty the Queen...
