Title: another bubble hand
Post by: Ironside on July 12, 2012, 01:02:55 AM
villian has been in every pot since i have been on table 10-15 minutes and his stack has yoyo'ed from 150k to 60k
he hasnt really shown anything down most of the pot have been won and lost before showdown
average stack is close to 60k and 108 get paid with 113 left

do i close down on turn and wait for him to shove and then fold or is it a simple shove

Check call. He isn't calling worse here on the bubble.

I think that with your stack size, and at this point in the tournament, you dont really want to be playing any hands that you are not prepared to go all the way with pre-flop. I think that you should just FOLD pre flop.
As played, i would go for a check-raise all-in on the flop.
Having said that, one of my biggest problems / leaks seems to be over playing flush draws, so i would be interested to hear what others think of my suggestion.
I do think that the flop is good enogh to be wanting to get them all in with, and, even though you are on the bubble, you really want to be shooting for where the big money is, ie-top 5 at least.

i bricked he woke up with bottom set once past the bubble 2 more hands there would of been plenty of easier spots should of just folded pre IMHO

Why play this hand/ Just fold pre, imho.

raise pre is fine.

raise pre is fine.

Isn't it a case we have nothing to gain (we're 5 off a ticket), and everything to lose by playing this hand UTG+1?
