Paul why is it that you go to (usually upstairs) a Chinese restaurant with Chinese mates and you never see any of the stuff that you get on the menu downstairs. You always get lobster, crabs dim sum etc. all top quality nosh. Don't you guys eat the "made for English taste" stuff.

Also what's the crack with Chinese take away in the states. It's nearly always in card board boxes. Don't they do sauce

some of my friends dont eat meat with bones attached to it, abit of blood, shells on prawns etc etc

i love food, probs eat most things except monkey brain or that young bird in the egg thingy.

Yeah prawn brains are yummy. There is a little place round the corner from naps in hull that probably only has 6 tables (has nice sushi too) that all the Chinese go to. You never see a Chinese person in the big all you can eat thingy on the corner

One of my local Chinese restaurants gives me free prawn crackers.    When I order, he always says "is that Graham" after.   I know he probably has caller ID on the phone and it tells him, but he's a great chap so I'm always touched that he knows who I am before I tell him.  That's probably not a good thing!  Genuinely I only go there once a month or so but always get free prawn crackers, no matter how small the order is, but as Paul mentioned, perhaps they're free because it's over £8 or something.  My closer Chinese, you have to spend £20 to get the freebies.
