Title: Re: Prawn Crackers Post by: smashedagain on July 13, 2012, 07:12:33 PM Does anyone else use these to scoop egg fried rice into? Yeah but prefer if the rice has some sort of sauce on.Paul why is it that you go to (usually upstairs) a Chinese restaurant with Chinese mates and you never see any of the stuff that you get on the menu downstairs. You always get lobster, crabs dim sum etc. all top quality nosh. Don't you guys eat the "made for English taste" stuff. Also what's the crack with Chinese take away in the states. It's nearly always in card board boxes. Don't they do sauce Title: Re: Prawn Crackers Post by: sweet potata! on July 13, 2012, 07:21:38 PM Egg fried rice curry and chips all crammed into a prawn cracker is delish.

When I order, he always says "is that Graham" after. I know he probably has caller ID on the phone and it tells him, but he's a great chap so I'm always touched that he knows who I am before I tell him. That's probably not a good thing! Genuinely I only go there once a month or so but always get free prawn crackers, no matter how small the order is, but as Paul mentioned, perhaps they're free because it's over £8 or something. My closer Chinese, you have to spend £20 to get the freebies.
