Title: poker through gaming? Post by: youthnkzR on July 19, 2012, 11:49:50 AM reading rex's thread about the history of gaming got me thinking / wondering how many people actually got into poker through gaming i.e. from people they knew / have a gaming 'background'? This is pretty much the reason i got into poker, as i used to play call of duty 4 on pc, at my peak to top 10 in europe standard, and got into poker from a 'team mate' on there.

Still play I'n local league every Tuesday night great fun .

I got invited into my mates withiout a turtlebeach, kinda annoys me now i never got a headset, as I might have really broken into the big leagues.
