2 tournament structures, both Satellites, which gives the better odds?

1) 1/4 final- 1/10 qualify to semi, itself 1/10 thru to final. So 2x tourneys both 1/10 to qualify for final

2) Prelim 1/5 qualify to 1/4 final. 1/4 final 1/5 thru to semi. Semi 1/5 qualify for final. So 3x tourneys all 1/5 to qualify for final.

Am I right scenario 1 is 1/100 and scenario 2 is 1/125.

Without looking in to this too deeply I'm going to guess that even though your odds are better for qualifying in option 1 You have to pay a bit extra for the privilege.
