Won't waste the time with why I am asking this but I know the situation will never occur in real life but just trying to work out how much of an edge you need to have to make a fold in some +cEV situations. Is this one a really easy fold or should it be a call.
Deep Stacked tournament, 15K starting chips with 45 minute clock and all the blind levels. The tournament is one where you believe you have a slight but not massive edge on the field. Early in the tournament a player open shoves his entire stack, he accidentally shows you his cards which are AKs, you have QQ. What sort of an edge (as in how big) do I actually need on the field to justify a fold. I remember reading an article in one of the magazines which said this would usually be a call but can't remeber who wrote it. Depends on entry fees, if you can re-enter, how many to acr behind you. Because of entry fees, it will become a fold even if you have only a slight edge, assuuming you act last. If a few people are to act behind you, it becomes more of a fold because there is a chance one wakes up with kings or aces too. If I could re-enter and could afford to, that could swing it more to a call even with a bigger edge.
