Title: 200 deepstack 15th level last hand of the day
Post by: JasiuZ on August 04, 2012, 02:34:39 AM
It is last hand of the day 1a. I am on BB with about 70K blinds 2/4k ante 500 soon 2,5/5. Two limps, sb doing call and i found KQo. Anyone doing shove? I did :) I saw there 17k dead money and didnt expect call after limps. Otherwise i had a little crazy image because i openshoved or resteals 4 times i last level and won every hands preflop. Anyone can find check there?

To be honest I really don't like a shove with that hand as your only going to get called buy a hand that's winning.

But then again I have to stick to my favorite moto in poker:::::::::

Limping ranges vary widely and mostly contain junk.

This is pretty basic thinking and KQ is a very standard jam. KQ is miles ahead of fishies limping ranges and we aren't going to get called very often at all and even if we do, KQ isn't usually going to be a massive dog vs their calling ranges, unless they're calling very tight ofc then we are usally in bad shape when called. But even if they are calling very tight then it makes it even more of a jam because they need a monster to call you and you're going to pick up so much dead money like 90% of the time. It's a very profitable jam.

KQ never loses either, have to factor this in.

Easy jam for me.  The real question is if I look at my cards first.
