you could try the arches under the heilanmans umberella. they might do it. failing that one of the hotels should put that kind of lunch on

happy scoffing

I couldn't say. My most extravagant meal I have had in the last year was at my local take-away. It is terrible being a poor student, always hungry, always cold, holes in my shoes. Please Sir can I have some more.

Ingrams on Queen Street (just down from George Square) do a  good roast.

Cheers big fella - finding the joys of co-codamol & lager at the moment - no pain at all.. but just when I feel OK I move wrong & it's agony again....

Hope you all had a good night last night - no results yet though!!!

Great cocktail that Rod, was on it myself at last nihgts big cincin tourney :D

As for resturants I recommend the china buffet king on sauchiehall st, and kubla khans (dunno where it is). U choose ur own food at kublas, spices etc and they cook it to your recipe (with examples listed in menus)

to be honest dont go to the china buffet king unless you like eating in a squashed canteen, yes the food is ok, but you put at a table then hev another couple put at the same table right next to you, and its a canteen table lol

never heard of the other one tho, need to have a go in there.

if im eating in the town id go to lloyds / witherspoons / filling station or Yates'

or if im in a hurry Pizza Hut, cos Pizza Hut Pizza are the best ever!

I'll have to nick your number off you at some point then Ironside.

12 noon woulda been no good for me though, that's the middle of the night. I went for a roast breakfast at 4pm.
