RIP Sid, never failed to make me laugh during the darts. Truth is, he was half the reason I watched the sport.

Hard to find anyone with a bad word to say about him. One of the few regional accents in broadcasting back in the day, I'd imagine.

He not only entertained the viewers with his Commentory he educated them.

Moving stuff, great programme.

I do hope the commentators who try to move the sports onwards don't try to copy Sid's style because they will fail miserably.

Sid Waddell is incomparable.

My favourite kids show when growing up, I even got bought a Jossie's Giants Tracksuit.
Just watched the first episode "Your playing Banana Football, always bunching together"  haha
