Title: To rack or not to rack that is the question
Post by: Poker_Monkey on August 15, 2012, 10:23:36 PM
First off sorry about the spelling I know it's bad.

Right now to the point I need a little bit of help as I don't know the best way to go. You see i have just got back into ridding my bike in some sort of way to get fit again and I hope to shift some of my gut (sitting at a poker table is not really helping) and I would like to tack it with me when I go traveling for a weekend game so that I could go out on it in the morning.

Now im stuck with the best way to transport it on the car. I have a little Clio (I know I know but I like it) and I don't know if it's best to fork out for a roof rack or get one of the ones that go over the boot door. If one of you lovely people could help me on this it would be so nice of you?

Thanks

Don't think it makes any difference really, might be easier to actually get your bike on the boot than the roof on your own though.

Just be aware you can get penalty point if your number plate is obscured by the bike/rack, so maybe get a plate made up to stick on your bike. I keep meaning to do that as my mate got done a few months ago.
