Title: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: Skgv on August 18, 2012, 01:06:59 AM Opened account an checked oddschecker an this site that i had never heard of had the best price so i deposited late july £2000 to bet on allyson felix to win 200m at 4/7 but they excepted £377 on the bet an i tryed to withdraw the remainder but they wouldnt let me after i checked account couple of days later the balance of the reaming £1623 was put back an in an they didnt notified me on why or nothing. so i couldnt ring them as they have no telelphone ( Already sounding dodgy) So i used online chat an they said they couldnt give me money unless i give up the free bet promotion so i agreed an they said i could withdraw it so i did an tit showed it was proccessed on 8th august but i have yet to recieve it an they say they have sent it e.t.c.
But the dodgy bit gets worse as i tryed to withdrew the winning bet which was £584 an once again it seemed to be ok as it said withdrawl enque an my balance was reset to 0 but when i looked on account again it was back in account of £584, i contact them last week everyday to ask whats going on an they say its euro law to verify acccount an they need 3 documents. Driving license , debit card , an a bill or bank statement. So i send all via scanner an they say all 4 corners must be shown as i had sent the final document with it folded. So i send them all again an they are admanat its not correct an there payments office will check an email to see if all ok but they dont email an when i ask them they say they have told me my docments need to be under 4mb with all 4 corners on show an in colour. I get my wife to do it this time with all four corners e.tc an send individually an they say they will get back to me but not on wedsnesday as its a public holiday 15th august , they assure me my money will be in account that i withdrew on 8th august of £1623 an they will email me to tell me if my account is verified , friday no money no verificaton. I contact online support once again an they are admanat money is sent to me an now ask 4 bank statement as they had agreed to give me the £1623 which on my withdrawl page was proccesed on 8/08/12. they then say the docs i sent on the 14 th they refused the documents i sent as incorect even though im 110% certain they are an once again they dont notify me of anything. i maybe sent them 9 emails of docs an copied some chat to send to halifax as they might be able to get the intial withdrawl. I have read reviews of this website YOUWIN.COM last few days an now realise they been stalling me an dont intend to even give my intial £2000 back let alone the winnings which are minimal compared to the deposit. SBR sports review has a complaint similar to mine an has anyone got an idea whats my best foot forward to try to get my money back from them? Title: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? SBR sports review has a complaint similar to mine an has anyone got an idea whats my best foot forward to try to get my money back from them? There are numerous complaints on the SBR site. I found others on other review sites and a previosu incarnation had similar bad reviews. It seems SBR has had some success in chasing them up, so seems an obvious place to start. I'd also inform oddschecker. Title: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: MPOWER on August 18, 2012, 06:54:52 AM Try there regulator

Post by: Karabiner on August 18, 2012, 10:19:55 AM I had a poor experience with this firm too.
I wanted to bet on the first round leader in the Open and they were going 200/1 which was easily the best price for the player so I opened an account and fortunately only deposited £10 which was the amount I wanted to bet. The deposit was okay but then they would only accept a £2 bet. Having realised that they were tossers I just decided to withdraw and have nothing more to do with them but of course the minimum withdrawal was £10 so just ended up punting it randomly. But the strange thing was when I went to my local supermarket a couple of hours later and tried to pay with my debit card it was declined and so I had to go to my bank and contact the fraud department who said that the transaction with youwin had triggered some alarm bells. Good luck getting your money back Pete. Title: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: CHIPPYMAN on August 18, 2012, 10:47:04 AM I had a similar situation about 2 months ago. Post by: Da Bookie on August 18, 2012, 12:30:03 PM This really annoys me. I was an I dependant bookmaker for 22 years and lost count off the times people asked for prices from some firm off the Internet . It's easy to advertise a price when you ain't going to lay it or not payout after. We used to call them wontbeherelongracing.com in my office. The people who regulate them should be held to task in my opinion. I hope you eventually get your money Pete you probably will in the end. I would report it to oddschecker tho and take the best price available from the reputable firms in the future.

had a bet with them a while ago on something they were joint top price about. They voided the bet for a reason that never became apparent and then still wouldnt let me withdraw despite me sending war and peace via email. As it was only £40 i decided to just punt it randomly which i kind of think is there mindset Title: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: AndrewT on August 18, 2012, 02:24:35 PM In the same way that in staking someone who has not got a perfect reputation for paying up on time you factor this into the markup you accept, you need to factor in stuff like this when you see a great price at some unknown Internet bookie - there's a chance you won't get your money.
Title: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: Skgv on August 18, 2012, 04:59:34 PM PS how was the room in the Wynn? Cheap! XTitle: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: cambridgealex on August 18, 2012, 05:05:39 PM Mine was FANTASTIC :P Title: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: Skgv on August 18, 2012, 05:09:23 PM Was a bit naive ! Just found out after manger rung me they have sent me£1523.48 instead of £1635 so that's a mini result an they say they will send rest when they evaluate my screen shot of deposit on there side as I deposited to youwin.com an the withdrawl came as wired nycob e.tc .
Manger was surprisingly helpful an said by monday 11am my account should be validated so I can withdraw an deposit at will.yeah right give me my money an I'm gone! Don't know if my last online chat wt them helped as I said my bank. We're dealing wt the£1635 through the fraud debit card department an that I would be contacting oddschecker an Srb sports book on my behalf to sort out the stalling of validating my account to get my remaining £584 out of them. So a little hope perhaps or just stalling again I don't know. I basically got all my bg bets on wt ladies an will hill an betfred who accommodated my bet an the small ones were the better prices but the firms don't lay much so I've learnt a lesson to stick wt the big guns from now. Post by: Nico29 on August 21, 2012, 05:01:39 PM Did you get all your money mate?
I have had nothing but trouble myself with this site, communication does not seem to be a word they understand. I made a withdrawl double figure days ago and have heard nothing, i've tried talking to them on live chat during the late hours I play online- but apparently you can only talk about payments between 9-6pm mon-fri and as a poker player i am often asleep at those times. Just trying to speak to them now about this and again their live chat process is like pulling teeth. Whoever I am talking to certainly struggles with basic english and takes about 5 minutes to answer one question. Presumed like yourself I was going to have send in documents varying from poof of birth to political choices. If they want things sent immediately they should just email and ask for them once you attempt to make a withdrawl. They should not just freeze the withdrawl and not say anything whilst enjoying your monies. As I speak it looks like I may have made a breakthrough on my problem, they claim my withdrawl has been processed after 10 days, funny as they say in their terms this takes 24-48 hours. They claim they've now sent the payment to my bank account. Supposedly just another 3-4 working days to wait now. I won't hold my breath though. Funny how I don't have to send in any proofs, must be due to the amount in your case being much greater. Atrocious site. Title: Re: Youwin.com stealing my money? Post by: Nico29 on August 23, 2012, 06:56:36 AM Just got paid my money 2 weeks after makng the withdrawl, and it's a few quid short just like in pete's case.
I'm probably going to write it off as it's a relative pittance, but would def advise ppl to steer clear from this dodgy site. |
