Title: Flopped NFD in multiway pot Post by: the rage on August 18, 2012, 12:36:19 PM Playing an $11.0 online comp on PokerStars
7727 runners I currently have about the average stack of the 236 players remaining Due to table moves, i have very little history with villian, but, of the 31 hands that we have been on the table, he has been quite active (29/10) I decided to lead out on the flop, my thinking being that, as it is multiway, i will probably get some action, so i will build the pot for if i do hit my nut flush draw, whilst hopefully disguising the strentgh of my hand. I'm planning on going all in if i get re-raised on the flop. I would appreciate any feedback on how i played the hand up to the river, whether my thinking regarding my line on the flop is flawed or not, and finally, how should i proceed on the river. Title: Re: Flopped NFD in multiway pot Post by: DMorgan on August 19, 2012, 04:22:28 AM I don't really like the flop lead, we pretty much prevent anyone from bluffing at this pot so would definitely prefer a c/r.
As played I think on the turn he has Ax pretty much always with that sizing. River is gin, he doesn't even need to have any flushes in his range to make this a jam. AQ raises pre, 33 and A3 most likely raise the flop. He just has so much Ax that you're beating and villain as described and in an $11 tournament isn't folding any Ax to a river jam. It bothers me a little that our hand looks so much like what it is, but most players at $11 aren't folding many Ax hands or flushes anyway so allin seems like the best cEV play. Your decision to jam facing aggression on the flop is fine as well imo, only really hate to see bottom set but even then we have a gazillion outs. Does anyone have a plan for the turn if villain bets any sort of real % on the turn. Like upward of 15k? Title: Re: Flopped NFD in multiway pot Post by: TL900 on August 19, 2012, 04:56:38 AM c/call or c/r flop dependant on what happens. c/fold turn as played. shove river as played, i expect to see 33 alot though.

might aswell just call and shove river as played Title: Re: Flopped NFD in multiway pot Post by: discomonkey on August 27, 2012, 01:48:25 AM hate flop lead, c/r is better
on river i think shoving is a must, too many ax non full houses that may sigh call |
